Terms of Use (ToU)

1. Purpose of the Application

The Gift Card Manager app allows users to save, manage, and track the balance of their gift cards. It is provided as a personal tool, with no direct affiliation with the official issuers of the cards.

2. Acceptance of the Terms of Use

By downloading and using the app, the user fully and unreservedly accepts these Terms of Use. If the user does not agree with these terms, they must not use the app.

3. Access and Use

The app is freely accessible from mobile stores (iOS/Android). Some features may require the creation of a Firebase account or authentication through a third-party provider.

The user agrees to use the app fairly, in compliance with applicable laws, and not to harm the proper functioning of the service.

4. Personal Data

The app only collects the data necessary for its proper operation (email address, Firebase identifier, data related to saved cards).

5. Security and Liability

The publisher makes every reasonable effort to secure the data recorded in the app. However, the user is informed that:

• No technology can offer absolute security;
• The app does not guarantee protection against hacking or malicious intrusion;
• The app is not the issuer of gift cards and is not responsible for their validity, balance, or functioning.

In the event of loss, theft, or fraudulent use of a card saved in the app, the publisher cannot be held liable.

The user is solely responsible for:

• The information they enter in the app (card number, PIN code, etc.);
• The security of their mobile device;
• Any unauthorized sharing or dissemination of their data.

It is the user’s responsibility to keep a physical or digital copy of their gift cards (proof of purchase, card number, PIN code, or any other supporting information).

The app is provided as a personal management tool. It does not guarantee permanent storage or the integrity of saved information, particularly in the event of a security update, deletion of data for technical or security reasons, or fraudulent use.

The publisher declines all responsibility for the loss of information not backed up by the user outside of the app.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its content, logo, features, and source code are the exclusive property of the publisher. Any reproduction or unauthorized use is prohibited.

7. Modification or Termination of the Service

The publisher reserves the right to modify or suspend access to all or part of the app at any time, without notice or compensation.

8. Termination

The user may delete their account and data at any time via the app interface or by simple request through the app’s contact form.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, the competent courts shall have jurisdiction.
